Job Description

 

  • Preperation of budgetary estimates from sketch drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and Costs Estimates.

 

  • Attend to tender procedures and prepare tender documents.

 

  • Prepare award of contracts, check contract documents and to recommend contractor's valuations.

 

  • To assist in the project team on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS.

 

  • Attend progress meetings and provide updates to clients with projection of costs as required.

 

  • Liase with contractors to advise on requirement of contracts.

 

  • Prepare/check payment certificates and finalize final account of projects.

 

Requirements

 

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying.

 

  • At least 2 years relevant working experience.

 

  • Knowledge of construction methods, costing summary and materials budget handling skills.

 

  • Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.

 

  • Exposure in turnkey projects will be an added advantage.

 

  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Office Applications.
